You want to know something?

I am positively passionate about your happiness, wholeness, health, and success!

So you want to know more about me, eh?

Well, here goes.

I am a Novi, Michigan-based entrepreneur, professional speaker, and have a perpetual passion for my life purpose. At Positive Creative Infusion Consulting, LLC, I provide consulting, speaking, and training services on a national basis. I am also a writer (surprise!).

It's been quite a journey.

I have moved around a bit during the course of my life. I have lived in Michigan since 2003, but still consider Louisiana my home state (my wonderful parents still live there). Go LSU Tigers & New Orleans Saints! One of the rooms in my house has a Louisiana theme with plenty of Tigers and Saints paraphernalia (it's too bad a live Zydeco band won't fit).

Well, moving right along.

I earned a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSU-S), a master's from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, and a second master's from Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois). During my college tenure, I was inducted into national honor societies for academics, leadership, mass communication, and foreign languages.

Make no mistake about it - I'm a bona fide nerd. That's right - nerd. There is nothing I love more than learning and growing. I am an unwavering life-long student, and am committed to being a better person today than I was yesterday. Personal growth and development are such wonderful things!

Speaking of personal growth and development, books are an invaluable tool to help us reach the next level.

As a blissful bookworm, it is definitely delightful for me to curl up on the couch with a great book or magazine (Fitness, Sports Illustrated, Speaker, Entrepreneur, Nuestro Detroit, Writer's Digest, etc.). Throw in a little Smooth Jazz playing in the background, and that's a recipe for excitement! In my opinion, reading truly is one of life's greatest joys. I've felt the same way about fitness for twenty years. I earned my certified personal fitness trainer (CPFT) designation in October 2014, and I'm excited to add fitness to my list of speaking topics (it should have been all along!).

Now back to the subect matter at hand - I love to read.

The same is true for writing (and I also write with Smooth Jazz in the background). I wrote my new release, Inspiration: A Common Life Cure, while listening to the soulful sounds of Norman Brown, Rick Braun, and Pieces of a Dream. I kept those CDs on repeat for days at a time! I could listen to "Soul Intent" - the title track of Pieces of a Dream's CD with the same name - daily for the next fifty years and would never get tired of it. Seriously.

Now back to writing.

My first experiences with the written word began early in life at Popp's Ferry Elementary in Biloxi, Mississippi - my childhood home. English was always my favorite subject while growing up, until it was replaced by Spanish at Seoul American High School (my Spanish teacher, Lorraine Lozano, was the best!).

Despite all of the twists and turns in my life, my limitless love for the written word has never waned.

I began seriously writing in 2005 when I began writing weekly inspirational narratives, and sending them out to friends and family. I worked in corporate America at the time, and it was a real highlight to write those narratives to encourage, motivate, and inspire others.

Little did I know - it was preparing me for what was to come.

In 2007, I took a writing hiatus for several years, and began writing again in 2012. This time, I sent monthly inspirational messages via email newsletter.

Through it all, my passion for the written word has endured.

The breadth of my writing includes the following:

-Inspirational

-Motivational

-Transformational

-Business (Entrepreneurship/Marketing/Branding)

-Case Studies

-Press Releases

-Copywriting (Persuasive)

-Marketing Materials

-Linkedin Profiles

-Faith-Based

In late 2012, I began writing for publication. I am so honored and humbled to have been able to touch lives. I am so grateful to be of service to others. One of my primary life goals is to serve as a positive light in the world.

Now about you.

Let me know how I can help you reach the next level. In the meantime, let me challenge you - take positive action now to develop the life you desire and deserve.

Are you ready for the challenge?

I am.

There's nothing I love better than a challenge.

What about you?

You have what it takes!

I can't wait. Isn't this exciting?

Let's make it happen!

Let me leave you with a few favorite words from my earlier years as a track athlete (my childhood dream was to run track at the University of California-Los Angeles).

"Runners - on your mark!"

It still applies today, just in a different realm. Always position yourself for success and happiness.

Let me challenge you when it comes to making positive changes in your life - get ready, set, go!

Be determined to WIN in this race of life!
